Risk Disclosure
Important information about the risks of trading and of using automated strategies built with Edge Builder.
Last updated · Draft · not yet in force
Draft for review. This is a plain-language draft grounded in how the product works — it is not legal advice and is not yet binding. It must be reviewed by qualified counsel, and every [bracketed] field filled in, before launch.
1. General risk warning
Trading financial instruments — including forex and CFDs — involves a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. You can lose some or all of your capital. Only trade with money you can afford to lose, and seek independent advice if you are unsure.
2. Not financial advice
Wild Trading Software provides software tools. Nothing produced by the Service is investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any instrument. All trading decisions are your own.
3. Backtests & past performance
Backtests and historical results are hypothetical and do not guarantee future results. Simulated performance has inherent limitations: it is produced with hindsight, uses modelled spreads and conditions, and may not reflect how a strategy would have traded live.
4. Automated strategies
Expert Advisors run automatically and carry additional risks beyond discretionary trading:
- execution differences such as slippage and requotes;
- connectivity, power or VPS outages that interrupt trading;
- differences between brokers (spreads, symbols, execution, server time);
- sensitivity to parameters and to changing market conditions.
5. No guarantee of results
We do not guarantee that any strategy will be profitable or robust, or that it will perform live as it did in testing — even after it has passed validation. A “robustness not found” verdict means no durable edge was detected in our tests; it is an honest result, not a defect.
6. Brokers & prop firms
Live results depend on your broker and account, and may differ from simulations. Some proprietary-trading firms prohibit external Expert Advisors. It is your responsibility to comply with the terms of your broker and any prop firm before deploying a strategy.
7. Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for your trading decisions, for how and where you deploy any strategy, for your risk management, and for the capital you put at risk.
