Blueprints & Ideas

Every build starts from a blueprint — a structured description of a strategy. You never edit raw files: a blueprint is built through a wizard, and you can create one in four different ways.

What a blueprint is

A blueprint captures everything the engine needs to build and test a strategy:

  • A plain-language description and a name.
  • The asset(s) and timeframe.
  • The strategy type (trend following, mean reversion, ICT/SMC, session-based, and so on).
  • Entry signals, exit and risk rules (stop loss, take profit, sizing).
  • Optional filters such as market regime or trading session.
  • The build mode and depth tier.

It's presented as a wizard form — you never touch the underlying file. Once a build finishes you can download the blueprint to reuse, share or version it.

A blueprint is always required

Filling in the wizard from scratch is building a blueprint — there's no “no-blueprint” path. The four options below are just different ways to get the wizard pre-filled.

1 · The build wizard

Open the wizard and fill in the fields yourself. Best when you already know the strategy you want to build and just need to enter it.

2 · Ideas

Ideas is a curated library of strategy templates, organised by category. Open one and choose “use this idea” to translate it into a pre-filled blueprint that opens in the wizard, with every field editable.

  • Browsing the library is free.
  • Generating a blueprint from an Idea is free — you only pay for the build that follows.

3 · Brainstorm

Brainstorm is a co-design chat. You start with a vague idea; it asks clarifying questions, suggests indicators and refines the brief until it's complete, then hands a pre-filled blueprint to the wizard. It comes in three tiers — Essential, Advanced and Expert — priced per message, with the exact rate shown in the app. Sessions are capped at twenty of your messages to keep them focused, and if the assistant errors on a message, that message is refunded automatically.

4 · Visual Learner

Upload screenshots of charts showing setups you trade by hand (PNG or JPG; around three to ten images works best). Visual Learner extracts the pattern — trigger, entry, and example stop/target — into a starting blueprint.

Treat the result as a starting point

How well the pattern is captured depends on the clarity of your screenshots. Always review and refine the generated blueprint in the wizard before building. Visual Learner is charged per analysis.

Earn credits by contributing Ideas

You can submit your own Ideas. Each submission is reviewed automatically and, if approved, rewards you with credits. To score well:

  • Write a clear title, summary and full description.
  • Spell out the entry, exit and risk rules explicitly.
  • Cite reputable sources (books, papers, courses) — this meaningfully raises your score.
  • Pick a valid category.
