Edge Builder
Getting started
From your Wild Trading Software account to running your first Edge Builder Expert Advisor on MetaTrader 5. Most people get to a downloadable build in under fifteen minutes.
What you need
- A modern browser. Edge Builder is a web app — Chrome or Edge recommended (you can also install it as a desktop app from the browser's “Install” button).
- MetaTrader 5 to run the result. MetaTrader 5 runs on Windows; a demo account is perfectly fine for testing. MetaTrader 4 is not supported — exports are MT5 only.
- Credits in your universal wallet to pay for a build. See Credits & billing.
From signup to your first build
- 1Create your account with email and password, then confirm your email from the link we send.
- 2Complete onboarding — a couple of questions about your experience and what you want to build.
- 3Top up your wallet. Builds are paid for with credits. Pick a plan or a credit pack on the pricing page.
- 4Choose a starting point: describe a strategy directly in the build wizard, or start from Brainstorm, Visual Learner, or the Ideas library — all covered in Blueprints & Ideas.
- 5Review the cost and build. The engine checks your blueprint and shows the exact credit cost before you confirm — you're never billed by surprise.
- 6Wait for the run. The build moves through a queue (queued → running → completed). You'll get an email when it's done.
- 7Download & deploy. Grab your
.ex5,.setand report, then follow Export & deploy to run it on MetaTrader 5.
Each build is locked to one MT5 account
Every exported Expert Advisor is licensed to a single MetaTrader 5 account number that you declare at build time. If you switch accounts, you'll need a new build for the new account. How long does it take?
Build time depends on the mode and depth you choose:
- Builder — typically a few minutes.
- Tester — usually fifteen minutes to about an hour and a half.
- Explorer — anywhere from half an hour to a few hours, with a cap set by your plan.
